Cross-Chain Swap

Odos has partnered with Across Protocol to enable seamless cross-chain, intent-based swaps powered by our proprietary Smart Order Routing algorithm.

Across is the only production-ready cross-chain intents protocol, enabling fast, low-cost, and secure interoperability across chains by separating intent execution from settlement validation. This allows users to swap a token on Chain A to a different token on Chain B in a single flow — no manual bridging or multi-step processes required.

Unique to Odos

Odos is the only protocol that allows users to bridge from multiple tokens on the source chain to a single token on the destination chain — all within a single transaction. This unlocks powerful new use cases like portfolio rebalancing, exit liquidity aggregation, or consolidated transfers across chains, with the best available rates.

How to Use Cross‑Chain Swap

  1. Choose input token(s) on source chain and output token(s) on destination chain.
  2. Confirm Trade Settings
    • Slippage tolerance
    • Gas price is not configurable for cross-chain swaps.
  3. Review quote details
    • Minimum output received.
    • Potential price impact breakdown
  4. Confirm the transaction
    • Odos builds the route as displayed on the source and destination Sankey diagrams.
    • Across handles intent submission and relayers compete to fulfill.
    • Settlement verifies and releases output on destination
    • Most transactions settle within 1 minute.

FAQs

Which chains are supported?

Cross-chain swaps are supported on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync Era, Scroll, Mode, and Unichain. We will soon expand support to BNB Chain, Avalanche, Linea, Mantle, and Sonic. We will soon add support for BNB Chain, Avalanche, Linea, Mantle, and Sonic.

How fast does the transaction execute?

Most cross-chain swaps finalize on the destination chain within 1 minute.

Is it secure?

Across’ architecture decouples execution and verification, relying on optimistic settlement. It’s built for efficiency while maintaining cryptographic security. All audits and contract addresses are available on the Across Documentation Portal.

Is there a fee?

Yes. A fee of 0.25% is applied to the output tokens of cross-chain swaps.

What happens if the transaction fails?

In the rare event of a transaction failure, you may receive the equivalent value of your input tokens in USDC on the source chain.

Which order types are supported?

Cross-chain swaps are available for Market Orders. Limit Orders and Protected Mode (fixed-output) are not yet supported.

Are multi-token swaps supported?

You may choose up to 6 input tokens on a single source chain to a single destination chain.
